Attorney & Staff Profiles James S. McLean Spokane, Washington
James S. McLean was born in Seattle, Washington on January 2, 1947. He was admitted to the bar of the Washington State Supreme Court in 1975. Mr. McLean was graduated from Gonzaga University in 1969 with an A.B. degree in Political Science, and received an M.Ed. degree from Gonzaga in 1974. In 1975 he was graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law with a J.D. degree (cum laude). In 1987 Mr. McLean received an LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from Georgetown University Law Center. Since 1974 Mr. McLean has been a tenured faculty member at Spokane Community College where he teaches Business Law and Economics. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Gonzaga University of Law. He has co-authored (with Zhang YuQuing) China's Foreign Economic Contract Law which was published in the Northwest Journal of International Business (Vol 8, No. 1, 1987). Mr. McLean's practice emphasizes immigration law. He is a member of the Spokane County Bar Association, the Washington State Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
